June 28, 2022 – Garden Peas
The snow peas are very happy. While the purple ones are easy to see to harvest, they are not quite as tasty as the regular green varieties.
June 27, 2022 – Sunsets
With a home with views to the east, we rarely see sunsets.
We had our fill on this trip.
It was beautiful to go up to the lighthouse at sunset.

June 26, 2022 – On Monhegan Island
This boat ground ashore in 1940 and is still rusting away.

June 25, 2022 – Onto Monhegan Island

“Life is too short to drink bad wine.” Or, I might add, eat bad food. But that is hard to do in Montreal.

June 6, 2022 – Mt Morgan
Today it was a different route up Mt Morgan. The first peek at Squam Lake.
The yellow trail marker shows the way.
A ladder leads to a narrow passageway. The missing rung on first ladder is not as big a deal as going sideways from 2nd to 3rd ladder.

June 4, 2022 – Beebe River Ride
I took to the Beebe River road on two wheels today, to see what lies beyond the usual hiking distance.
A nice resting spot a few miles up the road.
A side road leads to a very lonely Lower Hall pond.
